Job Interview or Hunger Games Part 5
I actually like job interviews. They're mostly fun - at least there's some time when people have to pretend they are interested in me and my life.
The only question that annoys me though is "Where do you see yourself in 5/10 years?" My knee-jerk response is always "lying in a ditch somewhere. not even dead. just tired and alone." That is not the answer they expect... unfortunately.
So I have to lie and say something like "being a manager. having more diverse responsibilities blablablaaaaa". What a joke.
All I actually want in 5 years is to be happier than I am now. I don't care how or where or with whom for that matter. I just want to feel good about myself.
