Well, I can't write. That sucks. But, fortunately, I had a brief (and poor) glimps of creativity when talking to my friend Lisa, so I'll just post the convo. Enjoy . . .
Lisa: how often do you look up at the sky?
Me: all the time
Me: the moon is gorgeous out tonight
Me: not quite full, but just as bright
Lisa: yes, i noticed earlier
Lisa: so, do you prefer the night sky?
Me: well, that depends what you consider night
Me: what sky is out during the sunrise? or the sunset?
Me: when the crimson and navy come together, that is when i fall in love with the sky
Lisa: ricky
Me: yeah?
Lisa: i went camping a few weekends ago
Lisa: i saw the sunrise appear from the distance of trees...it peaked all the way up
Lisa: i saw the reflection in the water
Lisa: and the willow tree was right near the sun
Me: :-)
Lisa: it was all i wanted, it made my day...has something that simple ever made you feel that way? silly question...
Me: all the time
Me: most the time, it comes in without realizing it
Me: like someone's smile, a kind wind, a bird on the fence....
Me: and no, i don't think it's a silly question
Me: usually, its the simple things that bring the greatest joy
Me: i was talking to my friend amanda today, and we used to be very close friends, but because of her job, we never even talk to each other, let alone hang out
Me: and she asked me how long i'd been with lauren, and i asked her how long she'd been with her boyfriend kyle
Me: and she mentioned the date they started "dating" and the day they were officially a couple
Me: and i told her i had this email she sent me the day kyle told her he wanted to be with her, and she flipped out
Me: she couldn't believe i still had the email
Me: she couldn't even remember sending it to me
Me: but knowing i kept something that important made her day, and i could just see her smiling in my mind
