(no subject)
So, water skiing didn't really work with my uncoordinated, unbalanced body. I tried though... it was great to hang out with Kristen outside of work though. She's a great girl....
What else have I been up to? After I went water skiing I hung out with Aaron, which was actually, really nice. He's really sweet. We played a bunch of games of pool, 3 of which he let me win. No brownie points on that one! I like people who challenge me, haha. It was cute, the cashier/guy at the counter told me I walked in with a smile and that led to emasculation. I enjoyed him! We also got ice cream and talked. Then we went to Trexler Park (?) and walked to a clearing, laid down in the middle on the dew-y grass and just talked and watched the stars. He saw a shooting one, but as per usual, I wasn't paying attention.
It's really weird.... I haven't told anyone this, but my idea of an ideal date would be laying in the grass at night talking and watching the stars. Weird. Not implying that it was a date... but y'know. It was just so odd because I've wanted to do that with someone for so long... and then... yeah. First time I hang out with this guy he reads my mind, haha.
Worked a bunch this week. Wednesday night I went to see Will in Kutztown, which proved to be quite an entertaining night. Slept there, and then while he was at class I continued to sleep.... which lead to me being late to visit Gia.. whoops! Met her at her parents house and went into Reading to meet one of her friends to celebrate her 21st birthday... we bought G her first legal drink... exciting! Hauled ass back to Allentown, which was difficult due to ridiculous amounts of traffic.... and took Carolyn to get her car back from the Toyota dealership. Then ran to work.
And 3 hours later... Carolyn got into an accident. Ironic, right? I'm glad she's mostly okay though. <3 It could have been a lot worse than it was.
I feel like I did more this week, but I suppose not.
Friday I worked at Melt, then babysat for the girls during the evening. They're so cute. They were sleeping when I got there, which made for a boring evening. I read and talked to Allison all night. Afterwards, Aaron came over and we watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. And as the sun came up, I went to sleep.... which means I missed the kitties appointment at the vet, and woke up 50 minutes before I had to be at work.
Got to work 20 minutes late, but close enough. I actually... *GASP* wore a dress to work. It was a black dress I bought for my Grandfather's funeral over 4 years ago.... and I'm happy to say that it fits (again). I thought I looked like a beached whale in it.. but lots of people complimented me on it... so either they were afraid that they got caught staring at me looking awful, or it really didn't look that bad.
Went to a bar with Lisa after work, but it was super crowded so we left... Met up with Aaron and hung out at my apartment. Craig called me and came to visit!!! I miss him a whole bunch, and it was so good to see him. Shaun got home and we all went out to South Side. Things got a little ridiculous, but over all it was a pretty good night!
Today I worked, then was supposed to go to family dinner night with the girls, but I just really wanted to come home and clean... my apartment and especially my room are in dire need of it.
This week should be good.... lots of work... girls night, lunch with Caitlyn, potentially getting another tattoo with Ariel, hopefully seeing my Allison, if the weather clears up lots of hiking... I'm pretty excited =)
