(no subject)
So, I should be working on writing out notecards for a test next week in History of Psychology. I wrote out two notecards.... and then Cambria woke up and attacked my pen. Haha, she just jumped up on my computer and stared at me. Yeah, her cuteness factor has gone through the roof.
Maybe I should give a real update for once. Life has been crazy. Like, beyond crazy. And I've been loving it.
Work's going well. For retail, that is. Getting ready for the busy season, and my nerves aren't looking forward to that, but oh well.. there will be a ton of overtime offered, so it'll be worth it!
This past weekend was pretty awesome. Friday I closed at work and then showed Carolyn some of NJ. Met up with Kaite and got Carolyn a kitty from her grandparents barn. Came back here and gave the kitty, named Zipper, a bath. Yeah, needless to say, she did NOT like it. Oh well, she needed it. She's a sicky, the poor thing. Slept in on Saturday, ran some errands and did some cleaning, then went to see Mark kick Moravian's ass. Unfortunately, by the time I got there, Mark had gotten injured, and I had to watch Moravian pummel FDU. Whoops! FDU did great until 11 minutes left in the game... where literally, in each play Moravian scored... end result? FDU 7, Moravian 27. Boo! Oh well. It was good to see my Mark, I've missed him! He tried to blow me a kiss... psshhh! He learned, haha. I had a talk with his mom and sister... and I'm very content with the results! Oh geez.
So, yeah. Got home and played with Cambria some more, went to the store to pick up some things, and showered and got ready. Carolyn, Kaite, Alicia, and Paige came over for another girls night. It was nice. We had CHILLED red wine, which was nice, pizza and great conversation. Paige brought her kitty Spook over and she played well with Cambria. I like that I'm getting to socialize her so she'll be more tolerant later in life. Yay! But yeah... it was cool that Cambria slept between Kaite and I all night and was super good! When I got out of the shower, I found Cambria asleep on the couch with Carolyn.. which was super cute, haha.
Sunday I worked 9-6, then went out to Carolyn's to get kitty. Came home to a house full of Mulholland's. I can't believe how dirty our apartment was. But it was nice to see them all and they all seemed to love Cambria!
Yesterday I went to classes. If any of you have talked to me lately, you know that last week I could have sworn I got a 2 on my test... and that was because I might have spelled my name correctly, but gotten everything else wrong. So.. I got it back yesterday and I got a 79% on it. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET. Yeah, I got an 89% on the first one, but I'm determined to get a better grade on the next one. I just have to make sure I do more of the homework and don't get cocky when I think I know something. I literally panicked when I got the test and couldn't figure out anything. It was ridiculous. There's a study group tomorrow though, and if I go, I'll get 3 points extra credit. After classes I called out of work because I felt like hell. My stomach hurt, I was tired and dizzy, and I was all congested. Came home and laid on the couch and did laundry and stuff. Mel came up and we met Kaite to get her a kitten. She got one and literally as soon as we got back into my apartment, Mel left and I went to sleep. That was at like, 8. I woke up around 10:30-ish and stayed up for like 10 minutes before going back to bed and sleeping until 12:30 today. Crazy.
Today I woke up and cleaned... cleaned, cleaned, cleaned like crazy. I'm talking cushions off the couch and pulling the couch out. Geez. I was glad though. It needed to be done. Spent a lot of quality time with Cambria and even gave her a bath. She's getting so big! When I took her to the vet last week she was a whopping 14 ounces... not even a full pound! But she's getting super strong and independent and tried to crawl out of the sink and then didn't want me to dry her off when I was done. But she's super cute. As I sat here and worked on my studying she was curled up next to me and just... ugh, adorable.
So, tomorrow I have classes and then I'm going to get my tattoo worked on. Yaaaay! Then I'll come home and play with kitty some more. I'm pretty pumped. Maybe tomorrow I'll actually do my notecards. I know I need to do laundry, but I should be able to work on those while I'm doing it.
Okay, off to bed because I'm still not feeling great.
