Arg. I can't remember. I think it was when I was probee debater in the Circle. Hindi ko talaga maalala.
What was the last motion naman?
BNPP motion. Bigay ni Aids. Estelle visited UPM and she was on the other room adjing too!
Who was your first ever debate partner in your first ever debate tournament? What was your team letter then?

Did you progress naman from your first tourney to the last? Or have you been consistently banban? Be honest.
Yuck. Sige, mas naging strategic I think. Pero there's always something you feel you could have said after a round.
Which format do you prefer? BP, Asians, or Australs? Bakit naman?
BP siguro. Effort masyado ang Asians! At mas fun kung maraming kalaban. Competitive!
What is your most memorable round so far in your debate career? Why?
Most memorable? Siguro PIDC 08 round 7. Estelle made us lose! *Hi Estelle.* At dahil dun, stress ang break night. At dahil gago si Aids, he hinted we won't break. And Yves goes, it's okay, you did what you could. Buti na lang may swerte pa rin sa mundo.
What was the hardest room that you've ever been in? Kamusta naman?
Semis NDC 08? Pakshet na Atheist motion. At grabe ang psych powers ni Jowee sa likod ni Joeven (the chair). With the head tilt, an eyebrow raised, and mouthing: eeeehhh?
Sinong gusto mong makadebate na hindi mo pa nadebate noon? Pwedeng present debater or one of the ancients. At Bakit?
Aloy-Aids-Yves team. Dati nanaginip ako na nag-iron man daw ako, solo vs Aloy-Aids-Yves. Tapos natalo ko sila. I woke up crying. Yuck!
May naging crush ka ba sa debate community?

Er, fine. NDC 08 semis. Eh kasi naman wala talaga kaming maisip na debate, kaya pinilit ang debate sa academe. Ayan, fail.
Do you have a debate grudge against someone?
Dati, oo. Sa adjes more in particular. Pero I realized may mga grepa talagang adjes, pero may mga adjes na tama din naman yung analysis, iba lang ang priorities at school of thought.

Wala naman.

I guess. Dati, super hard feelings. Pero once you start adjing debates, marerealize mo na iba ang perspectives ng debater and ng adjes. Kaya in retrospect, baka bitter brat lang ako nun.

Not understanding the argument just because it was too brilliant. Yuck! May bitterness pa pala.

Hmmm... Sige na nga, PIDC 08. Kasi nga surprising break eto. In fairness, may value ang panggagago ni Aids.

Besides the usual, varsity shout before a day's series of rounds, and the usual UPM themed shirts, may way din ako ng pagsusulat ng motions, rounds, and rooms (yuck, gaya-gaya).

Do you look forward to being an adjudicator once you graduate from your debate career?
Look forward? Siguro.

Pakshet ka. Ninakaw mo ang mga hapon ko, summers ko, sembreaks ko, at minsan, christmas breaks ko. At weekends ko pa pala. Was it worth it? I don't know. I just remember how it feels to debate, and I remember feeling good.
