For a few nights in a row I have been spending time with my old school buddies and it has been great. I have really missed them a lot and I love hanging out with all of them again. On Monday I went to see Fun with Dick and Jane with Ryan, Mike, and Anna because Ryan got free tickets from his cousin so we all went out to Vallyview. Besides getting lost and missing the turn for Vallyview about 3 times, haha, it was a really fun night. After the movie we went to get some food at Quaker Stake and Lube, which was rather delicious and fun. On Tuesday Cailey had people over her house for some good times so I headed over there. I saw Elena and Nick for the first time in forever which was really nice. We just sat around bullshitting as usual and catching up, and it was a pretty fun time. Then on Wednesday Battles had people over his house which was sweet because I hadnt talked to him/seen him in forever. I also saw Kathy, Amanda, and Bev which was pretty awesome because I hadnt seen them in forever either. We spent the night playing the game Balderash and coming up with the most vulgar, perverted, and onscure answers we could, which turned out to be a complete riot. I love playing that game with my crazy perverted friends, haha. What a fun night.
Hanging out with all of them made me realize one thing...no matter how many other friends I make, or however long I go without seeing them, no one can ever replace them. New friends are good, but they are nothing like the ones you have grown up with. If I have learned anything at all lately, this is it. I really hope with all my heart that we don't ever grow apart. I have noticed that we have all changed in our own ways, but we still manage to create the old times we used to have without it dying. They are all pretty much my family, and I am very lucky to have all of them as my friends. This is all very corny, I know, but it is true.
