You wouldn't kid a girl, would you?
Sitting home on a Friday night. Fortunately, I had a very eventful week, or else this would be downright embarrassing. However, I am partaking in a little drinky and a lot of Sex and the City. The end of Season 4 and the entirety of Season 5 make me too happy to be allowed.
Wednesday night was the Defiance, Ohio show. Good times. Lots o' drama, though. Sean was exceptionally adorable and in love with me. It was nice. He as also belligerently drunk, but adorably so. I saw many, many faces. Carol was there. Muy bueno. Dancing was had and PBRs were aplenty. At the surprisingly acceptable hour of 12:30am, Sean and I got home and went to bed.
Thursday was OUR DAY! I snagged a vacation day and Sean and I headed down to Ocean City for some super relaxation. Despite scary downpours on the way down, once we got there it was warm, though slightly windy, and sunny. We ate pizza, played on the beach and he totally kicked my ass at skeeball and air hockey. We gave up in the shore in favor of delicious vegetarian and headed back north. My wonderful mans took me to dinner at Govinda's Vegetarian where I had my first taste of pure, unadulterated soychickencheesesteak. Seriously, "OMG" is the only way to describe it. Then a few visits here and there and we ended up at on Mike's stoop for a bit, drinking 22s of lager and discussing Sean's impeding departure from me. He is still planning on going on tour for two weeks and I'm not happy. I think its an amazing opportunity for him, but I'm going to miss him. More than he knows. I've already committed myself to driving down to Baltimore for the Fourth of July to see him. Two weeks isn't that long, but if it's anything like when he went to Florida in January, I am not looking forward to it. We ended up home at a decent hour, cuddling and watching Big Trouble in Little China. Perfection. Absolute and utter perfection.
Today was work and more government job hunting. As we speak (/write) I have just agreed to buy Ashley's bedroom set. One less room I have to furnish. Excitement! Exclamation points! Sean is off with the boy, destined to return to my place of residence, hopefully before the sun rises.
