And we shed what was left of our summer skin.

I guess I didn't have everything figured out as much as I thought I did. Oh well.
This summer has been absolutely insane from beginning to end; by far the best summer of my life.

It started out with a kickasss trip to Virginia with my best...Mainers I am telling you...we are missing out on sonic and awesome weather but it's worth it because the bugs there are the size of my cat-sized dog.
That kickass trip was followed by a few not-so-good weeks (wisdom teeth and a hideous breakup). But I made it out alive.
Actually, better than alive, I started getting out and doing things with friends that I hadn't seen in forever
Got back in touch with Bryce =D lots of funny stories came out of our nights together (such as his dad and his dad's psychiatrist stumbling in drunk and hooking up in the bedroom next to where Bryce and I were sleeping, and his sister walking in on it the next morning, lmao)
Ellen and I went to so many frat parties I have lost count...we also started dragging along Katie so we had a good time.
Worked at Mechuwana for a few weeks, which was amazing as always.
Camping trips, bonfires, random midnight skinny dipping, all that good summer stuff.
And I finally had the time to really teach myself how to play guitar, I don't just pretend anymore. It's been a long time coming, and it makes me incredibly happy =)

And now I am back in the 802, at Norwich. Brand new dorms, (flat screen tv's!!), beautiful weather, greenest grass I have ever seen. I truly love Vermont. I have some of the best friends here too. I definitely won the lottery with my roomie (2 consecutive years and we're still not tired of eachother).

I turn 20 tomorrow...well, today. Thanks too my faithful friend insomnia I have been outside smoking and trying to pass the time since 10:30.

Let me tell you, they must not want nurses anymore, cause I swear they are trying to kill me. I have to core nursing classes, a lab, a clinical (6:45am-4pm every thursday in Burlington), anatomy class, anatomy lab, statistics, and math for meds. I also have to wear the ugliest scrubs I have ever seen in my life, I swear if my schedule doesn't kill me it will be the maroon and gold scrubs with bright white nursing clogs that do it...

But the next few weeks, hectic as they will be, are going to be wonderful. Birthday celebrations tomorrow night (tonight), and then all weekend too. And next weekend I'm heading up to UMO to party with Daniel and Colin and Kristin =D stoked.

Peace and Love<3
