(no subject)
OH boy, you guys are in for a nice journal entry here. The past two weeks at Staples have been insane. For once I am not bitching about the restaurant in this entry. So lets begin with last week. Thursday I am working 10-4... just a regular boring day in the life of an office supplies associate. Our "AP" guy comes in and goes to the managers office. We have one "AP" guy for the whole district. His name is Jeff. So Jeff goes into the office and calls Rob, my manager, in. Rob goes in and they shut the door. I don't know what happened but all I know is that Rob and Jeff had words to say and Rob went to punch Jeff in the face. 911 was called about 5 times by the other visiting manager, Greg. So Rob storms out of the office and throws his sweater on the service desk and leaves the store. GONE!! Come to find out that Jeff had evidence that Rob had been stealing from the company for quite awhile. They issued a warrant for his arrest shortly after so I guess he is looking at jail time. CRAZY?? NO it gets worse!! Today while I am at work I punch in at 2:00. About 2:05 rolls around and people are crowded by the window. I go over and ask what the heck is happening. We have a guy who comes into the store a couple times a day and does our computer repairs for the customers. He is in his 30s and his name is Mark. Well, I guess Mark was eating on lunch about 1:00 and then he went to his car to do something, leave maybe. I look outside and all I see is his car door open, his foot out of the door, seatbelt still on, DEAD!!! Our mobile-tech guy is dead about 15 feet away from me. I started shaking like mad! The ambulance comes, but they cannot help so they wait for the coroner. It was freaky as hell. Only in his 30s and they do not know what caused it. Makes you wonder about your own life I guess. Anyways that is my last few days. Sorry I could not make it to Jendas on Saturday; I was entertaining at my house that night. As for this Saturday coming up, I work a double at the restaurant. Gotta love the working life... NOT... Well that is all for now... Off to bed now that the pistons lost tonight... :( sadness.......
