[Leo kept his word, and returned a few days after his post on the network. It's a couple of days later, and he's outside again, down by the river nearest to the house. He's sharpening one of his katana, but he's also out here to try and just enjoy the quiet.]

[Don also comes down to the river some time later, by chance - he's looking for a reading spot and didn't realize this is where Leo had gone.]

[He sits down near his brother and opens the book, but doesn't read it. Instead he stares over the water and listens to the familiar rhythm of sword-sharpening.]

[He might say something eventually, if you don't first.]

[Rivers are pretty good places for calm and quiet. He looks up as Don sits next to him.]

Hey. [Some how, he can feel his brother's not there just to relax, at least not with him around.]

Everything all right?

[i_speak_softly]

I don't know. [He says it with the lack-of-concern that generally means he knows how to find out, but without the joy-of-imminent-discovery that tends to also accompany such declarations.]

[He doesn't know? How can he not know? He regards his brother with a bit of concern. But if it was anything too major, it would've been brought up before now. Or so he would hope.]

What's going on?

[Don is silent for a moment. Then he turns to Leo abruptly, conviction written on his features.]

I want to go to the clinic. I want to see a doctor.

I want you to come with me.

[Well, that caught him off guard.]

What? Why?

[i_speak_softly]

Because it might be my only chance.

[honorthecode]

To be seen by a real doctor.

[He can understand it. They usually don't have the option of seeing one. Forced to fix their own wounds.]

[He nods, looking at his toes.]

It's getting harder to think of any reason not to.

We've always taken care of our wounds ourselves.

[Though some of them were out of their capabilities.]

[Leo, you're missing the point.]

I'm not wounded.

I know.

[He looks back to his sword for a moment, sheathing it when he's done. He understands why Donny wants to go. A part of him wants to go too. To check it out. It could be useful for future injuries. Especially those that are beyond their abilities.]

All right, we'll go. [He glances up at Don.] When did you plan to go?

[Maybe you do get it.]

You'll come?

Yeah, I'll go. Would be good to check the place out.
