[Mission] S. Amadeo Pt. 1
The mission seemed simple enough.
Squalo knew something had happened when he returned from his previous mission, a tad bit irritated by the little amount of killing he was allowed to do. For one thing, the stench of blood was so thick in the air the swordsman would've choked, had he not been so accustomed to it. For another, underlings were scurrying around like they always do when there's something they didn't know how to deal with.
Thus, with an aggravated sigh, Squalo set out to find the source of the smell.
He wasn't surprised to find himself in front of that door painted with a little lopsided crown. He was, however, somewhat stunned to find Xanxus exiting that door before he could kick it down screaming bloody murder.
Let's just say Xanxus wasn't pleased when he was almost greeted with a faceful of Squalo's boot.
Five seconds later, when Squalo was laying in a slightly smoking heap at the bottom of the landing (having been thrown over the railing by the Boss), Xanxus glared down at him from the upper floor, dropping the manila folder he had in his hand. Papers slipped out and fluttered down beside the rain guardian, like frozen flecks of what he symbolized. Quickly and efficiently, he gathered the scattered pages and quickly made sense of the big picture.
Well, to be honestly, there wasn't much to get. All the pages were stained with blood splotches and some were ran through with a knife or two. On the very last page, Xanxus had scrawled in his surprisingly elegant handwriting three words:
Kill them all
"...Understood, Boss."
