Hanabi was training herself so that she could push herself to her limits without using the curse seal. Though she liked Kabuto well enough (more than was really sensible, in her opinion, but she couldn't help it), she honestly doubted that his offer to help her with the curse seal was anything more than kindness. After all, the Orochimaru from his world wasn't likely to let him remove the curse seal from her - especially with the Sasuke of their world well out of his reach. She was a consolation prize, and if he happened to get the Uchiha in his grasp again, meant to be one of the Sound Five.
And at this point, Hanabi knew she'd be considered a missing-nin. People weren't likely to believe in the Nexus until they saw it for themselves...assuming she was ever able to get back to her world, period.
Despite all that, she was working at the Nexus Clinic sometimes...and when she wasn't doing that, she trained. Her training was even more obsessive than it had once been, and often left her barely able to move. On the plus side, it wasn't for nothing. She had much more chakra than she had a year ago, and she'd figured out how to improve some of the techniques she knew before.
Such as the one she was practicing now. Forming some handseals, she began the formation for the Bane Touch jutsu she used, one that surrounded the hands with poisonous chakra. Being hit with it once would poison the enemy...and the more times the enemy was hit, the quicker the poison would kill them. The primary difference was that instead of only concentrating the poisonous chakra around the pores, Hanabi had found a way to release it from every tenketsu point, and to even make a poisonous kaiten.
Triggering one of her own traps, she deflected logs and wood blocks that came at her with the poisonous kaiten, its visible chakra green instead of blue. Once she'd finished, she collected the pieces and examined them. Every one of them tainted with poison. In a moment, she'd remove the poison, practicing the technique Kabuto had shown her. For now, she'd give herself a minute to sit and rest.
