Easter and such
Easter was pretty awesome. Easily the best in recent memory. Jeremy went with me to my grandpa and step-grandma's house around two. We got a little lost, because I don't go out there very often. It was a bit awkward, just because I don't know most of the people there very well, and because there are a few members of that side of my family that I try to avoid; but it was still fun. At one point Jen (my step-grandma) took us outside to show us the rabbits my grandpa bought, and the BABY CHICKENS OMG. One of them escaped, and when my grandpa caught it he let me hold it, and it was SO WEIRD. I was fascinated by the little guy, because he was just AWESOME. And it was hilarious, because Jeremy just looked at me and was like, "wow, you really are a city girl, aren't you?" But it was all in good fun. Then my grandpa shot his canon, and it was epic. It's always epic. I love that thing so much. Before we left he gave me a pack of 250 strike anywhere matches, and I can't wait to use them.
Then we went to my gran's, the one that I usually stay with. My mum was already there, and she was hyper as soon as we got in. But it was a lot of fun. It wasn't as awkward, because Jeremy already had met them, and he's known my mum and sister for a while. Parts were weird, though, ngl. Like when my sister brought up DOCKING at the dinner table. That was weird. And, jfc, why does that shit get brought up so often in daily life? OTL
We went out to my parent's house after eating. Not sure what the point in that was, but we're going back out again today. Speaking of today, spent most of it in bed. OTL Which is bad ... We were supposed to get up and go to work.. I was really hyper yesterday, and we didn't go to bed until super late. So we didn't get up to go to work. OTL I feel a little bad, but, whatever. It's temp work and it's for a friend and I'll make it up to her or something.
We went out to my parents again on Monday (yesterday), for dinner. It was nice. Mum let me drive her 350 Z Roadster home, and that's always fun. Even if it did start raining so I had to put the top up. T.T Dad grilled out and it was awesome, he did it in the storm, because he's badass like that. And at some point Jeremy, dad, and I ended up in the living room watching Top Gear. We didn't leave until like midnight. It was awesome.
Today we slept in. We were supposed to go to Sullivan, but apparently we aren't. I dunno what we'll do today. Jeremy is in the shower. When he's done we're gonna go to my grandma's to get some food, and then we're going to go to Borders so I can get the 12th Dresden Files book, and I'll probably spend most of the day reading it. I dunno. Might go hang out with Megan. Not sure yet what's going on. lmfao
But, yeah. I'm gonna tinker on the computer for a bit, then leave~ DID I MENTION THAT JEREMY PUT WINDOWS 7 ON MY MACHINE? AND IT'S AWESOME!!
Also ... KCC is tonight.. I don't think I'm going to go ... I ... Yeah...
