LOL everyones entitled to their own opinions~ im not gonna hate just coz someone has clashing likes/interests/opinions on my fave bands :') haha, yeah i'm not sure what to call cn blue anymore, but their music was fantastical before and still is now, even though they have a composer composing for them noww. my wording mustve been misunderstood because when i said professional i kinda meant polished and clean and just pulled off very well. they totally exceeded my expectations. but really, the song? i didnt like it that much but the fact that there wasnt that excessive amount of heavy breathing, the perfectly pulled off dance routine and the steady and grounded vocals just won me over and blew me away =/ i really didnt see that much in 2PM and Ukiss till a lot later, like mid-ish give or take a month of 2009 when 2PM came back with again and again and i hate you x)! and then jay left and i was like woah, korea is sort of crazy =/ and scary. well netizens anyway. oh dbsk suju definitely rank in my top3 but shinee's been the first ever band to really have me into them for a long while, because i tend to have really short spans of attention; like, yes, i listen to a group's songs fangirl and then they are somehow buried in my itunes for me to listen to on days i have random spur of the moment moments? @_@ like i had this momentary 2PM lapse in april and the next thing you know i'm going back to shinee within the month and then a 2AM one and yeah, just kept going back to their music. ofcourse i had a huge rnb{english} phase but, i kept going back kpop as a form of entertainment rather than the musicc. OF COURSE NOW ITS FOR THE MUSIC. AND THE DANCIING. esp. girlgroupdancing muaah AND THE VARIETY SHOWS 8D! shit im rambling. anyway ROUNDING IT OFF. seunghyun is my fti bias. LOL, i think you've misunderstood him coz he and key are like really close friends (according to them :O!) + jinwoon ofcourse. hongki is the dorkiest thing ever. SORRY IM SUCH A TAEMIN STAN. NO ONE BEATS THIS MAKNAE AT BEING CUTE :') and mir was hot until i saw him ooutside the MV and im like d'aww he reminds me of hongki and i instantly liked him LMFAO. OMG THIS IS SO LONG DONT HATE ME D: IM SORRY I MADE YOU READ MY HUGE OPINIONATED PIECE OF MINI ESSAY :X
oh and I CANT WAIT FOR MUSIC CORE THIS WEEK♥ theyre all performing their debut songs :') cant wait to hear shinee with replay and snsd with into the world andandanddd b.e.g 8D!! im not sure about 2PM though, because the highlight of their debut song was sorta jay's parts =/ AND HIS FANTASTICAL FLIPPING AND STUFF :')
OMG CAN I JUST SAY THAT MUSIC CORE THIS WEEK IS GOING TO BE THE BEST FREAKING THING EVER???!!
I mean, I'm really, really, really apprehensive about the 2PM perf just because ... without Jay it's not going to be anywhere near as good. It's just going to be empty and sad and all that, but, still. I'm excited.
YES, YES YES AND YES 8D! yes its gonna be sad, and then i will link my friends (because of like shinee omgomg replay replay replayy~) and then they will be sad with me when they watch 2PM ><" oh well, my fave groups that arent missing members excite me :') thank god suju isnt gonna perform on mucore, coz i really dont want to see them performing U (or do they classify TWINS as their debut song =/?) with only like 10-11ish people xO
I'm still so undecided on whether or not I want to stream MuCore live tonight or not. On one hand, I really, really want to see Replay. But on the other hand, there's so much that's going to be there that I really don't care about. lmfao Either way!! I'm watching it on Youtube like as soon as it's posted!
I think U is considered their debut song? lmfao I'm really not sure. But, it would be horrible if they were gonna go. Because in their latest performances only like 9 of them show up. I mean, seriously. Kibum is a given to not be there, same with Hangeng, and then, for some reason, Heechul never goes anymore. Sigh... Feels like the band is falling apart sometimes..
;O i dont plan on it, because my internet tends to be a total bitch to me, BUT i will watch them as soon as they get released onto youtubeee. yeah, theres a lot of songs that ill probably tune out on anyway, so i dont wanna waste my time with half of the stuff on mucore. ITS A WASTE OF MY PRECIOUS INTERNET +time of course :)
hmm, yeah, they used to be called superjunior'05 before then right? lol, kibum is never there and heechul i was surprised to see him at the gayodaejun~ yeah its depressing ;__;
lol I fail at responding to comments. I'm so sorry it took so long!! OTL
Yeah!! Super Junior used to be Super Junior 05. I think that was before they added Kyuhyun? I'm really not sure though... lol I was surprised to see Heechul at the gayodaejun, but I was even more surprised when he only selectively performed with them. I was like, uhm, hello, you're there, wth are you doing??
LOL. i should be saying sorry for my late responses xD Schools been a bitch and i've been trying to catch up on sleep, to the point i've skipped a bajillion meals this week @_@
yeah, they were originally to be a transition group like xing? but the fans pressured SM and they added kyuhyun and chopped off the 05 x) yes same. omfg, today's performances were like skalhdfjklsga SHINee sounded so different and 2PM did areallyyyy good job despite the lack of anything that acrobatic. AND THE DANCE HISTORY OMGGGGG and the MC stage 8D lmao, i liked all of it actuaally. twas so spectacular ♥
LOL XING. Sorry. That is my default reaction to them. I don't listen to them, don't have anything against them, I've just never gotten around to it. But they make me giggle because of Kevin and Kibum (lol Marumir) from U-KISS at present. But yeah, I think you're right, about the transition group thing. So many members of SuJu seem like they were almost slated for something else. Like that Four Seasons thing, which I still maintain would have been a ballin band. I mean, I love the bands that we got instead, but it would have been cool.
I don't even know what to say about the show. It was so good! I wish I'd been able to stream buuuut my internet is so not okay with streaming stuff from Asia. lmfao I should have gone into town... But it doesn't matter. lmfao Because there's Youtube for that!! It was just. So. Wonderful~
lmao, i've only heard of them from U-kiss and then it fascinates me that these rotational groups acutally sort of work x) but i've never listened to them. mm, yeah if they just let people "graduate" from the band, i'd wonder what we'd have today. 4 seasons would've been totally awesome with the group lineup but then we wouldnt have the DBSK we have today. i mean, if suju was a transitional group, SHINee might be a different group of people entirely and i would never want tthat too happen and there would be a lot more idols around from SM.
my internet likes asian streams among other things but it totally hates me so it lags like crazy. i mean, my cousin streamed before and it worked perfectly for him ;__; i dont know what id do without youtube :O! it burns my internet like crazy but its so awesome ♥ i was just speechless :3
It's so obvious that I spend too much time on Omona the place where differences of opinion are not allowed. T.T I don't really have anything against any band in kpop, to be honest. Like, there are bands I don't like, and stuff I don't wanna listen to, but even the ones that I hate the most, I wouldn't ever sit back and say that they aren't talented, hard working entertainers. Just not my jam. lmfao
I've never really listened to their indie stuff. >< I feel like such a noob or sth because I didn't give them any attention until "Alone" -- can I just say I cringe every time I don't type out the Korean title? -- came out. I didn't even jump on the You're Beautiful -- I'm doing that thing with Korean titles again >< -- until just recently. No clue why. I sorta wished I'd paid attention to this stuff sooner. But I'm weird sometimes. lmfao
Oh! Okay!! Yeah! I'd have to say that I agree with that. I mean, I wasn't blown away by either band's lives at first, but there was definitely a serious difference in that and, oh, say, DBSK when they were promoting Hug or sth. (Okay, just gotta say, I was super impressed with Hyunseung of BEAST, but that's just because I knew him when he was ~*~almost~*~ in Big Bang and it made me so so so happy to see him on stage and able to do his parts.)
rofl One of my friends seriously got me into 2PM. Like, I remember when they ~*~exploded~*~ all over LJ, and I was just like, wtf is this even? Because I wasn't paying attention or sth I guess -- I'm such a fandom noob -- and then she was like HAY THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING and it took me all over 5 minutes to be a rabid fan. It was not the same with U-KISS though, I jumped on board with them when the Manmanhani PV dropped. I feel like such an older fan of them, though, just because I've since like, researched them and paid attention to all their older stuff and what not. idk, I really like them. I remember the day that Omona reported on Jay calling Korea gay. I remember because I was in blingasaurus's dorm room, and we saw it, and just laughed. I mean, we were just like, lol gj Jay, gj. And then, four days later ... He was gone...... Yeah that's clearly still a big deal with me...
DBSK got me back into music. Like, I hit a rough patch and I didn't listen to ANYTHING for a while. And then I was shown them, and I absolutely loved them. They got me involved in fandoms again, they got me paying attention to entertainers, and what not. I mean, I've since come to love a number of bands, SHINee being waaaay up there. It's just that DBSK and SuJu were sort of ... my gateway back into having passion in my life. lmfao I sound sssso ridiculous.
rofl are they really friends?? I've only ever seen him on makbansi and I couldn't help but think that it looked like he was intentionally trying to antagonize Key -- after the off hand comment about SuJu's Kibum. lmfao But now that I think about it, it makes sense that they'd be friends!! Because why else would he poke fun at him like he did? lmfao Key is just touchy I guess.
Hongki is my favorite member. idek but srsly, I love him. I really do. And lol never apologize for staning someone. Get me going on Jpop and I'll tell you I stan some of the weirdest people ever lmfao.
OMGOSH IT'S TTLY OKAY BB. I LOVE LONG COMMENTS WHEN THEY'RE INTERESTING AS THIS ONE WAS~~
LOL. my journal's too young to join omona but i enjoy lurking around and i think i know what you mean xD
Oh yeah, i wouldnt nessacarily hate on a band because i know how hard they work even if I dont like them. ill just stay out of their way and stuff but im not the sort to go "OMG theyre all ugly an have no personality like and they cant dance or sing or whtever" i hate people that have to pull shit about other bands just for them to hoist up their favourite band. it's really stupid and immature >.>
lmao, cn blue's songs before korean debut were 98% english. and damn, yonghwa's english is realllyyy good xD a lot better then most of the engrish idols tend to sport ;)
ah well, dbsk's hug was so cute. i mean like they were so cute and innocent compared to their image now which is 8DDDDD and they sat on stools didnt they? and jumped off once in awhile for a bit of dancing x) nowadays, i dont see any band that dont play their own intstuments just sit down and sing for their debut~
weeeell, in my 2PM phase back in april'09 i kinda got loads of my friends into them, and they werent really interested. and NOW, all of a sudden theyre all interested in 2PM and im alone liking shinee (like as my main group i tend to go 8) about. because back in april everyone liked shinee and i was kinda like yeah, i love them too :D! but i wasnt thattt into them just yet~.
YES, in the eps and radio shows where they ask about celeb friends, i remember key mentioning that seunghyun, jinwoon, dongwoon and him were pretty tight, even with their overflowing schedules ;O!
ahahaha, who do you stan :O? im not into jpop scene that much and i really prefer jrock but i might recognise some names 8)
:D SAME. im just not sure if everyone else likes them. they're so fun to read ;)!
LJ CUT OUT SOME WORDS + EPIC GRAMMAR MISTAKE T~T i kinda got loads of my friends into them, and they werent really interested i kinda tried to get loads of my friends into them, but they werent really interested. :O lj is weird sometimes >.>
People just get into stupid fights over bands, and I don't get it. It's like, okay, you don't like the same bands, that doesn't mean that your band is any better than someone else's. I mean, sure, I think that some of the bands that I like are better than bands I don't like, but I'm not going to go out and start fights about it.
I think I realized how good Yonghwa's English is when I say him and Jonghyun do Geek in the Pink. Because it was really fast -- faster than the original -- and I could still understand it. And then there's performances like, oh, SHINee's Jonghyun at the gayodaejun when he tried to sing Beat It, and the only words I could understand were "beat it."
omo. I have to say that, for the longest time, I hated SHINee. I remember when they first debuted, and I was seriously into the DBSK fandom. A lot of us thought that SM was trying to replace DBSK with SHINee, so a lot of us hated them because of that. Groundless rumor, and I can't believe I ever really believed it.. But, to be honest, it took Ring Ding Dong to get me to like SHINee. But now I can't believe I never liked them!!
WOW. I seriously never knew that!! It makes me look at him in a totally new way!
haha Well, you don't have to worry about it with me. Sometimes I take forever to respond, but that's because I live at two different house, and the transitions sometimes throw off my response time. OTL Really sorry about that, by the way, because I love this convo!!
ughhhh, i know right. it's so stupid and totally irrelevant. Like before, akp was full bashing gdragon and "comparing" him to this new hiphop artist. the comments page was in chaos :O people who do that are like total douches and seriously need to just. stop it.@_@
oh isee. i just heard their japanese stuff, which was all in english. i was like wtf NONE OF THIS IS ACTUALLY JAPANESE @_@ lmao, Jonghyun's english is just absolute fail. i have a hard time not cracking up whenever i hear him perform english stuff. bb needs to stick to his korean ♥
LOL. oh i remember. When akp released the news about this new band, wow, shinee got so much hate. everything was like wtf are these guys? they look so ghey blahblahblah and omg, that guy on the right/left looks like a slut and what made it worse, their picture was like fully brightened so they looked like they were shining or something @_@ i was pretty neutral about it until i actually hear replay and im like wow, this is good and just had that song. then when amigo rolled around i was like, wow they look hot and yeah. juliette's my fav album. it's just i hated their ...concept? tank tops, pastel skinny jeans and fake bugs are sort of... not nice xD eh, RDD made me go wtf and then i'm listening to it again and again coz it just got into my head when i wasnt particularly thinking of anything =/
haha, yep. i dont think idols would be rude to each other on national tv unless you know, everyone knew they were good friends or whatever x)
now that schools started and im slowly loosing my precious hours of sleep i'm gonna take forever to respond. well, i live a long way from school and with cocirriculars, sometimes i have to wake up at 530am for training and then on friday im drenched with sweat from basketball and i skip meals just for the extra bit of sleep im gonna get @_@
yeah, i love this convo too 8D! i'm sorry im pretty fail about the commenting too. in my world, sleep > computer/internet xD
I got so annoyed with all that GD business. Maybe because I've liked Big Bang and him for so long that it just sort of sucked to see so many people ragging on him. It's like, sure, his music is really similar, and, yeah, probably heavily sampled, but he's still a hard worker, one of the hardest workers in the business, I think. Maybe it's a personal opinion, but people are just harsh sometimes. And it's stupid. Because they're all entertainers just trying to either make a living because they have talent, because they love to do it, or they're trying to touch people. Maybe some combination of the above.
I've heard this. But I've never listened to their "Japanese" (lol) music. This makes me want to, so much. lmfao I loved Younghwa singing Geek in the Pink, though. I was really impressed! Just because it looked like Jonghyun was playing it way faster than he needed to. And I feel like I may have said this before... Hopefully not to you... lmfao I have the worst memory for this sort of thing..
I remember listening to Replay. It was like, wow, this is a really good song, I'm going to listen to it, and only it, and pretend like it isn't SHINee, or that it's some sort of weird exception to the rule of them being bad. >< I was such an idiot. But after I got over that, ngl, it was Taemin that mostly kept me away. I mean, when he had the poofy reddish hair and those friggen blue contacts. It scared the crap out of me. For some reason. I'm not really sure why. It was just too much or something. I think it was also their concept, though. It was just, bad, I think. >< RDD was so freaking different and so catchy. It was just what I needed to be able to take them seriously -- I still find it hilarious that the song that made me take them seriously is called Ring Ding Dong -- it made me realize that they're all crazy talented at singing and dancing and rapping, and my god. I love them so much now. lol
This makes sense. lol I really have no idea why that would slip my mind. I guess sometimes I forget the nature of idol groups, given that their every move is scrutinized and what not. Of course they'd only poke fun like that if they were friends. (And just to further my point of I'm an unobservant tool sometimes, it makes me think of Akanishi Jin and the way that he talks to his seniors, in particular Matsumoto Jun. Sorry if you don't know Japanese music. lol)
omgosh That sounds so busy!! Don't worry about slow responses, I'm horrible about responding in a timely manner. I get all excited when I see a new comment, and then I'm like, oh, but this other thing on the internet, or this thing irl that I want to do, and I'm just terrible at actually sitting down and doing something. >< I'm so bad. lol
But seriously. No worries. It sounds like you need all the sleep you can get! I, and this convo, will be here when you get the time!
haha, yeah i'm not sure what to call cn blue anymore, but their music was fantastical before and still is now, even though they have a composer composing for them noww.

now that schools started and im slowly loosing my precious hours of sleep i'm gonna take forever to respond. well, i live a long way from school and with cocirriculars, sometimes i have to wake up at 530am for training and then on friday im drenched with sweat from basketball and i skip meals just for the extra bit of sleep im gonna get @_@
