Well! Stake&Bake is sold come the first of the new year. Did I hear it from Ron? Nope! Boss-lady told me. Why? Because she wants me to start looking for a new job now, and not hold out on the off-chance the place 'might not sell'. It's funny. Ron turned around and tried to convince every one that it isn't sold, and that it's not goign to sell, despite having told Boss-lady that it IS sold and that he's going to start his own bakery and wants myself, Joanna, and Susan to go with him.
First off? He only wants me to go with him because he knows he could renew the contract with the government and be reimbursed for my wages..*eye roll.* Yes, I get there on time and I do my job well, but let's face it; he's a penny pincher and to people like him how good a worker I am is irrelevant. :p
I'm not sticking around! lol. In fact, I can't work for someone who can't be honest and just tell me the truth. Yes, I understand that he's worried that we'll all jump ship if he comes out and tells us the truth; but my god he's so transparent, the man can't lie at all! hahaha. It's pathetic watching him try. You just want to call him on it to mock and humiliate him, but you realise it's neither worth the time or effort--however minimal.
Mmn. I'm gonna miss them all but..to hell with it, you know? I'm gone the second I find something better. I need to start checking the job bank in freddy. In fact, I'm going to do so right this minute.
...Amandas' okay, and she's doing well over there; she misses her family and her friends--and her pets lol--but hs'es otherwise hanging in there. There've been a lot of disappointments in my life lately as far as women go--let's hope this one isn't a total bust! Yes, i'm alright now. I dealt with the...problems. I usually get over stuff like that quickly--provided I'm not forced to remember it constantly. *Glares at certain family members and former friends.*
I'm moving back after christmas--it's set. Not before, on account of this year...i want to spend it with Mike. It's gonna be my last year to really see the kid, you know? I'll be away next year. I suppose I could just make the jaunt back to 'stock for it--eh we'll see what happens. Come what may, I'm ready now. Life can eat my ass.. :) I'm doing things my way.
Hum. I've been exercising consistently, no slacking at all, and that's good. I'll definitely get, and stay, in shape. My health is waaaaaay too important to be slacking!
Time to do other things(like scour job bank and listen to music).
