This is on my fanfiction.net account. But anyways here is is here too.
Toris couldn't remember when he'd first met Feliks. He could vaguely recall the smile on the blonde's face. The smile that, at this moment he realized, he would never see again. He finally took time to notice things. To realize that they COULD die. Tears rolled down his face.
"G-Goodbye…Toris…" His companion murmered.
"DON'T YOU DIE! Feliks…don't…Feliks please…Feliks…" Feliks closed his eyes. "FELIKS!"
Those bright emerald eyes never did open.

"Are you okay?" Ivan's voice was composed. Toris shook his head. Ivan wrapped an arm around Toris's shoulder. "You need to cry?" Silence. "Go ahead. I won't think any different of you."
"Th-thank you." The only sound that could be heard was Toris's muffled sobs. For once in his cold pitiful existence it felt good to cry. To let everything he'd been holding in come out in the form of tears. To feel the pain of reality claw at his throat. "Why? I just want to know why..."
"Feliks was…um…a great person and I'm sorry about the things I did to him during WWII. And I wish I could have apologized sooner." Ludwig muttered.
"Ve. He was a good friend."
"DAMN IT!" Toris felt his throat burn. "Always! ALWAYS! Someone ALWAYS freakin' dies! No one listens! Not until someone is dead!"
"Liet…" a quite voice whispered from the background. Toris turned just enough to see a flash of pale blonde disappear into the forest.
"WHO ARE YOU?" He broke into a run. Ivan reached out to grab his wrist just a moment too late.
"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING TORIS?" The brunette didn't respond, didn't even look back. He just kept on running.

The blonde boy was rather scrawny. He ran faster…faster…and then he tripped over a root. "Owww…"
"Caught you." Toris wrapped his arm around the kid. His green eyes startled by the sight. "You-You're dead."
"Liet! Let me go!" The child looked into Toris's eyes and noticed the dark empty void behind them. "What's wrong? I'm right here. I'm okay see?"
"You're dead Feliks. This is just an illusion. Just a figment of my imagination. You're not real!" CLAP! "UH!"
"Toris. There's no one there. See?" Ivan. "Maybe you should rest." His violet eyes were frightened an uncommon expression to see on the large man's face.
"Kill me."
"Don't be absurd!"
"I'm not! Just kill me!"
"Toris…" Ivan sounded genuinely concered but it was hard to tell with him. "It's okay…" He drapped his jacket over Toris's shoulders. "See. Nothing's there. It's okay." The child appeared in front of Toris again. This time he was ghostly pale and almost translucent.
"You promised you would never leave me." He taunted. "You promised. And you lied. You broke that promise." Toris felt like he was going to throw up.
