So: I have a number of lj friends who are also at least some-time fans of The Wheel of Time. So why is it nobody has mentioned that there is, in fact, a new book out, awaiting our perusal? I've requested a copy from the St. Paul library, and anticipate having it read by the end of November by the latest.

Also, on the theme of sequels, and such, We Love Katamari seems to be at the very least as good as its predecessor, and that's saying quite a bit.

My social life continues to be slightly crazy/angsty, but...well...actually, I'm not sure I see an upside there. At least it's interesting? And that's a good thing, right? Maybe?

The campus college bowl tournament has been postponed to mid-November due to incompetent student management, which pisses me off. I mean, if they'd asked me, I'd have been happy to at least do a better job than whoever's doing it now. Though I suppose I have rather failed at my job of "making sure stuff gets done" at least when it comes to MAAS. Though stuff still seems to somewhat be getting done these days, so I don't feel as though I'm a complete failure in that department.

Countdown to Study Abroad Doomsday: 10 days.
(When did that happen??)

books, college bowl, life, games
