My classes started again today. I thought they were gonna start Monday, but they didn't, giving me todays to sit around and play FFX all day XD Not that there was anything else better to do. Today, holy carp! I got there and people were looking at the results of the placement test. Katherine came up to me and I thought she said "Erik, you're in J class" and I was like "Shit, dammit, now I'm gonna have to bitch at the teachers for the next few weeks until I can get moved up to I class, just like last quarter. Dammit dammit dammit." But then I looked at the posting to find my room number and it turns out Katherine's British accent had me fooled. I was in G class! +_+ That means I was placed 3 classes higher than my previous one +_+ Granted, they changed the system a bit this quarter, and now there's one more lower class, but I still skipped ahead quite a bit. All my friends from my previous class are in the class below me now, and they were all ragging on my about that. I saw Kou this afternoon. She had a new haircut, and I told her it was cute, which it was. She ragged on me most of all 'cause she was counting on having me to sit next to and cheat off of.
Most of the people in my new class are new students at the school, and most, if not all of them are better than me too. So it'll be a challenge, but that's the way I like it I guess. This afternoon we had to write an essay on our countries' foreign policies with Japan +_+ This class is really mixed up too. There's only one other American, two Koreans, a French guy, a British guy, an Israeli guy, and a Mongolian girl +_+ We'll definitely for the most part have to speak Japanese, which fortunately I can keep up with. But it's much more challenging.
I have to go to the farking bank now because my great uncle in law or whatever he is lent me 10,000 yen to take the shinkansen home from Tokyo (since my classes didn't start until today that turned out to be unnecessary but oh well). So I gotta go to the bank and get money to pay him back with. Then I'm gonna go buy Kentaro's bike which is a piece of crap but it still works for the most part, and he's selling it for just 2000 yen.
