Finally got around to watching
Tokyo-ga, a film by Wim Wenders. Inspired by the works of Yasujiro Ozu, he travels to Tokyo to see what he can find, if anything, remaining of the Tokyo captured in Ozu's films. In the process he takes some gorgeous lingering shots of scenes around Tokyo of the sort Ozu is known for. There are a few hilarious 80s

Ozu's cameraman spoke at length about the effort they would go to to get a shot set up just right, especially with film and other resources being very limited through a chunk of his career.
Once a shot was set up, if anyone bumped or moved the camera in the slightest it would be a shitstorm.
