The day before yesterday was good because I moved into my new apartment. Or was that yesterday? No, it was the day before yesterday...I've just been having trouble keeping track of time, for reasons I shall state above. I have a refrigerator now...so I bought some groceries, because people have told me that it's cheaper to cook your own food than it is to eat out all the time. I didn't buy much. Just enough to last me barely 'til half-way through the month, which is when I said I would go to the bank again. I want to make sure I've saved enough money to go to Tokyo and get one of those Limited Edition Xenosagas that they're making less than 1000 of +_+ so I need to save money. I just got a bunch of instant udon and instant yaki-soba, some spaghetti that I think I'll make tonight, some okonomiyaki sauce for no reason other than that I like it (maybe I'll put it on the spaghetti since I didn't get tomato sauce), a dozen eggs (cheap way to eat something for breakfast every day), 2 kilos of rice (rice is fsking expensive here for some reason, I guess since they import most of it now. I wish they still just grew it here so I'd be able to get it really cheap), a bag of those little black sesame seeds because I like to have them on rice, and bean sprouts are hella cheap. I got like half a kilo of them for 100 yen +_+ so that'll probably be my main source of nutrition for a while.
Having all the extra space the apartment provides is nice. I actually have room to stretch out. And I can take a hot bath every night. And the apartment comes with a tv, so I don't have to fight anyone for it to watch Final Fantasy Unlimited, Inuyasha, Hikaru no Go, etc. They're showing Maison Ikkoku right now too, but I have yet to watch it because I'd get all teary-eyed probably. But then again since I'm in the privacy of my own home I can do so without getting embarassed. I wonder how far they are in the series. Hopefully not very far, in case I do start watching it. I've seen the whole series before though, so it's okay either way. One day though I do want to watch it from the beginning again, in the form of that bootleg dvd version, since when I watched it the first time though it was all just on crappy .rm's +_+
