I think that a lot of the negative reviews of it that I read were somewhat vain, and I still believe that. Though I do agree that there was some sloppiness in how it was put together--not enough to hurt its enjoyability as a movie, I don't think, though I do wonder how well it would make sense to someone who hasn't read the books. I've read the books, years ago.. And re-read them about two years ago when I realized I'd forgotten alot. (read them in about middle school so it had been a while)

*shakes you* TELL ME HOW THEY ENDED THE FIRST MOVIE ;~;

It's like I said--they completely drop the last chapter.

Lyra and Roger are on the balloon headed to see Asriel, and then the movie ends.

After much digging through crap links I managed to find a full plot outline. I.. will not be seeing it. The theatre would likely go up in flames when my head exploded.

It's worth seeing for the pretty.

Besides, I want it to do well so they make the next movie, and I can see what the hell they pull out of their asses to make it work.
