Does "Rebuild of Evangelion" imply that it takes place after one of the endings to Evangelion?

I guess I'm not too concerned about it; I always thought Evangelion was kinda overrated anyways.

Not exactly. One is a prequel, one takes place mid-tv series (likely to focus on Kaworu's origin as covered in the manga), and the last two are both sequels of some sort.

And of course it's overrated, but I love it =D It's like the Macross of my generation, or something.

Yeah. ONE movie would make me excited enough. But four is just overkill. I almost don't feel anything, just because if I do think about it too hard, my balls will explode.
