Praise the college gods, I'm alive!

Sorry for being MIA the last few weeks - finals were completely killing me. But! They're over now, and summer's here, so I'm back! Or, I will be. Once I survive ACEN. Still so much to do for that con... I really should be working on stuff right now, but I'm having way more fun editing pictures, so whoop-de-doo.

General list o' stuff that's on my mind right now:

• I have a migraine that has persisted since the afternoon. Idk why. But I wish it would go away already. Staring at the computer isn't helping but lolol when has that ever stopped me.
• It's weird being home. There's so much food here.
• My little brother has a girlfriend. He's a sophomore... she's a senior. I was really uncomfortable with this at first but after meeting her today I feel better about it - she acts like a sophomore. And she's adorable. They're going to prom together this year, and I was worried about that too.. because I know what happens at prom. But she said she doesn't want to go to any after parties, so that earned her some major points. And according to my mom she's really intimidated by me, "the big sister off chasing her dreams in Chicago." So that's something.
• I did a test run of my Miss Martian cosplay today! (If you can't tell by the new icon, herpderp.) Courtney and I were going to go to Motor City Comic Con, but then everyone else we know decided not to... and we didn't want to pay $25 to just walk around a dealer's room and then leave. So instead we did photoshoots on our own. In the rain. It was worth it.
• I neeeeed to work on my Supernatural/Young Justice crossover some more. Maybe I'll do that tonight...
• ACEN IN FIVE DAYS WHYYY GOD WHYYYYY.
• Speaking of the number five, I'm 5 lbs. away from my goal weight! Going vegetarian is helping a lot with that~
• I was going through old stuff from high school last night while cleaning my room... I pretty much cried for an hour straight. I don't know, maybe it's this whole thing with my brother having a girlfriend, and seeing Brenda and Adam before they went to prom last night... I just really miss high school. Life was so much less complicated then.

So, yeah. That's the State of the Nina at this point. Perpetual stress, but it's exciting stress.
