After only a few hours of sleep, I gained enough courage to wake up and make my away to my first day of LACHSA. Yes, I was nervous, and yes, I figured I would just be a loner all day. But here's what happened...I came to the school and a someone from my departement (a vocalist) was assigned to show me around. Her name was Julie and she was sooooo gorgeous and sooooo nice. She and another friend of her's who decided to tag along showed me around the humungous college campus, which after awhile didn't seem so humungous after all. Then like a half-hour before class, I hung with a bunch of people whom my friend introduced me too who I had already known before coming to LACHSA. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life from a gay guy's jokes. Holy crap...I was about to pee in my pants. Dwain was absolutely hilarious, not to mention the star dancer in their upcoming production of "Fame." But yeah he was great. Then the classes began...I had to go to computer apps just because it was on my schedule, but at lunch I switched it to chemistry, and I'm gonna end up being with all the juniors, but no worries. Then math, oy vey...definitely the worst class of the day. I came in, and in front of the whole class, the first thing Mr. Lu says to me is, "What are you doing here?" followed by "And who are you?" I hated him from the very start, which is why I'm gonna try and get placed into the advanced english course to switch it with math. History was amazing, even though they're doing the industrial revolution next and I did that last year in 9th grade, and then in english they're reading "catcher in the rye." oy, i don't wanna do that book again, but watever...And then in PE I got to talk to a couple of seniors about politics in the arts department, which was interesting. At the end, they were hilarious, they were like, "Sorry if we're scaring you..." But watever they were cool, and I just happened to have choir with both of them. Theory was annoying. All I kept hearing from my classmates were how bad of a teacher she is and that she only gives Ds and Fs. But i'll get help in theory anyways, no big...and then came the best part of my day...CHOIR!!! OMG, they sounded sooooo good. I was so intimidated by all of the guys cuz they all had gorgeous voices. Choir, opera, vocal jazz, and gospel are performing at a gala this weekend, so im gonna see if i can go (cuz i obviously can't learn the music in two days and be in it...). But one of the songs that they sang was a cappella, and it was just great. The teacher herself admitted that she was getting the chills. And then school ended...that was it...and guess what...I get to go back tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
