(no subject)
ok so it's the end of november and there's a lot of stuff going on. Classes and homework are really getting in the way of my college experience. All the work plus all the fun stuff = no time to relax and minimal sleep time. Last night was Lens and Lights elections. I was nominated for secretary but left before I had to give my speech to go see Ted Leo! at Clark (which was an awesome show btw). I probably wouldn't have won anyway. Fraternity rush comes to an end in a few hours. I was invited to a formal dinner at crow tonight. I have to find clothes to wear now :/ but I hope I get a bid. Also this junior from PSK IMs and is like do you wanna come down to the house and chill - first thing that ran through my mind was http://youtube.com/watch?v=3zvTRQr7ns8 lololol but I went down and went up to this room and he closed the door and got a lecture from a few brothers about how they vote on rushees using white and black balls and passing around a gavel and what I did to piss someone off to get a black ball...but then he was like jk they're all white you got a bid!. So I'm pretty suped and I got an invite to another mystery event but I'm going to the formal dinner instead. Tomorrow is bid night. I sign with a fraternity and am allowed in the house after 10 for a huge party. It's supposed to be one of the most fun nights. So whether or not I get a bid tonight from crow, it looks like I'm going greek! forget all the stereotypes you know...I <3 you all!
EDIT: I got a bid from crow!! - Turns out they came to get me last night while I was at Clark :P In other news, I just found out I'm operating a followspot for Bruce Bruce and Alonzo Bodden on the 9th. If you know who they are....well then I guess you watch too much comedy central but yea - come see the show at WPI.
