It was a Dark and Stormy Night
Finally! October has some proper stormy weather going on, and just in time for Halloween, too! It's very windy out here, a little rainy, and quite frankly the perfect setting for a gothic story.
In the meantime, I've resent one of my stories to "Necrotic Tissue." I call it the "Cabin story," because it takes place in and concerns a cabin in the woods. I'm currently calling it "Good Times in the Country," which is a little ironic, and quite frankly lacks a little something. But I still think it is a good story.
I also submitted a humorous fantasy/horror story to a big name in the sci-fi/fantasy publishing. It'll take a while to hear from them, and it is a longshot, but hey--I did it!
