(no subject)
Well, March is almost over so I thought I'd update. Everything is going really well. Porter is feeling much better! She went back to the vet for her next vaccination and they said her parasite is gone. I think she was a little sad because she really liked her parasite medicine. We found out that she hadn't grown as much as they thought she had. The scale they used the first time was found out to be broken the next day. So let's see... She weighed 1 pound 13 ounces two days before we got her. Then on March 16th, she weighed 2.3 pounds. Her next vaccination is on the 9th of April, so we'll get a new weight then. She's definitely grown though. Right now, after having her for almost a month, I finally think she looks old enough to leave her mom. Oh well. We never had any problems that made us think she was younger than they said she was. She sleeps all the way through the night now. She only ever woke up once in the night anyway. Saturday night she slept for 10 hours! Housebreaking is coming along slowly. When we go outside she knows to go right to the grass and go potty, but we still need her to ask to go outside more. She sometimes asks to go out. Now that its warm out, she's asks to go out because she wants to play outside. We just need her to ask to go out because she has to go to the bathroom. She starts puppy kindergarten on Thursday, so maybe I'll learn some tips then. She officially goes to obedience school in the beginning of May. That will be fun. Her major problem is that she doesn't like to not be sitting on our laps. She won't play or go to sleep unless she's on our laps. She'll always be small, so I'm not sure she'll grow out of it. That's another question for puppy kindergarten.
I start my CPA review course tonight. I'm a little nervous. I couldn't get all the reading done that we were supposed to do. I don't think we're graded or anything. I think it's just like, the more work you do, the more likely you are to pass the test. But this reading, he gave us the assignment right before the weekend. Hello! This was Easter weekend! I'm sure everyone in this class has a job. People probably have families too. And he gives us 5 chapters to study in less than a week, over Easter weekend? I should have been able to get it done, but I would say that if you have a job, a family and any plans at all over Easter weekend, then there was no way you could get it all done. So this week I have some catch-up to do. I'll be sure to space it all out over the entire week.
