My mobile is alive! *bounces*
You see, the battery had run out and the adapter I'd brought with me doesn't fit the sockets here, and I'd bought a new one that didn't seem to be working, so I changed it and that one didn't seem to work either, so I went to the youth hostel reception to see if I could borrow one and it turns out mine was just fine, only I hadn't pushed the plug far enough in because it was very stiff. Silly me.
So now I feel like a prize idiot. But a happy one, because now all the places I've given CVs to can actually contact me if they want to employ me, which is kind of important, because I have to either work or study while I'm here and summer language courses are EXPENSIVE LIKE WOAH.
