Ollie is a genius! A genius, I say! He came into my room, picked up my laptop, stared at it for a minute, pulled the battery out and switched it on! And now it works perfectly. In fact, better than before because he tidied it up a bit as well and it is now super fast! And now I have working internet nad this makes me happy, and sane (possibly), and not bored. Although it is probably very bad for revision.
Stomach, it seems, is not quite so fixed. And the oral exam isn't for another two days yet so the most stressful bit of the exams is still to come.
Speaking of exams, the listening today went pretty well. The first part was ablsolutely piss easy, then the recording for the second part wouldn't start, and for five minutes we were all happy in the knowledge that they would just have to double the score for the first half and we would all have 100%. Then they got it started and it turned out to be scarily fast, although I managed to get most of the answers. They still haven't put up the times for the oral exams on thursday yet, which is annoying as it means a walk into uni on wednesday when the plan should be revision all day. Meh.
Also, Mum and Dad phoned tonight to say that Grandad is in hospital. To cut a long story short it is the doctors' fault. They gave him tablets for something or other when he was perfectly fine and the tablets made him ill. I'm going home this weekend anyway because my cousins are coming up and I haven't seen Becca in ages, so I will see him then and hopefully he'll be feeling better.
