As promised, a picture of my sculpture, which is still in progress. It was really hard to get a good picture of it - but this gives you an idea of what it looks like, minus the depth. There is also a close-up of some of the branches in my Flickr account.
It is made from a branch I picked up in Gatineau Park - I made the base out of clay and mounted it on a piece of scrap wood. Next, I spray-painted it black (yay for indoor latex spray-paint!). Then I started to make extra branches out of black and copper wire. I intend to add a bunch more branches, then hang some funky beads I got from the Sassy Bead Co. from the spirals, as seen in the close-up. I will post another picture when it is finished.
P.S. I didn't realize I had lurkers. For the record, this is for my Perception class and the whole point is that it's a tree made from a piece of a tree.
