This book is changing my life.  This is the second mindfulness book I've read.  The first one, The Power of Now



The first one was recommended by my yoga instructor, and the second, by my therapist.  It teaches to shut off your thoughts and judgements and experience you, the objective now, and how all the excess is all lies and distortions, both within oneself and outside yourself.  It's really beautiful to think in this new way.  It is definitely a challenge not to let your mind wander and to judge one's actions or others' actions.  Taking the stress off with the simple action of turning off your thoughts is amazing.  I accept what is and what will be and that's it.  Easier said than done for sure.  It's a practice.  This and other good things take work.
