Wow, two posts in a month. Must be a record.
I went for my First Aid/CPR training on Thursday. Hm, that went well. I knew the instructor since I've seen him down at the firehouse a couple of times. He was quite entertaining I must say. We couldn't help but laugh when we watched the videos; the acting was that bad. XD When it came time to practice CPR on the dummy, I felt like an ass. You actually have to talk to the dummy before doing anything, and even though it was just Rich and I, it still made me feel like a nut. After everything was said and done, I took the written test and passed that with a 96, he was impressed with that. ^__^ Then I took the hands-on exam and passed with flying colors. Yay, now I'm certified to save your life should anything befall you. Aren't you just oh so lucky. ;P
He was telling me how females have more of a problem doing CPR since we have something that men don't. Breasts, of course I knew what he was speaking about, but I just sat there and let him say all this because it was fun watching him get all flustered. Hey, I needed to stay amused, so sue me. *Shrugs* Then after all that he said he wasn't trying to be a pervert. Riiight. *Wink wink* Haha.
Finally after 4 hours and some odd minutes I was finished, and we talked for a bit then Rich told me I could call him anytime if I wanted to practice or what have you. Hmm.
Now after he drops my card off at the house in a couple of days all I have to do is drop the application at the Town Hall, and cross my fingers that I get the damned job. The camp starts on June 27th so we shall see.
