I haven't been around hardly at all. Work up to my eyeballs, mostly.
Because I'm so short on staff, I spend two hours a day working directly with the people in my program. We have fallen in love with the eagles in Decorah, Iowa. We spend time every day watching them on the webcam and learning about eagles. Here's one of the best and funniest videos:

Tomorrow, I'm packing up Mom, dropping Daisy off at the vet's for boarding and heading up to Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin for the holiday weekend at my brother's. We'll celebrate Mom's 83rd birthday while we're there.
Getting away from it all.
