Im still alive...
So hi there, i dont know if you remember me but my name is David Arroyo. I know its been a while but yes to those who remember me i am still alive.
So what have i been up to. Well at the close of 2006 ive realized that it was a year of accomplishments. I set my mind to leave PR and well i did. I set my mind to find a job and well i did, i set my mind to do well in school and wouldnt you know it straight A's. I even had a relationship although it didnt last, i got over it fairly quickly.
I even sold out of my book.
I will be honest with you folks i have a pesimistic streak in me, sometimes i catch myself feeling that at 28 i should have done more with my life but its like someone once told me there is no point in dwelling in the past.
2007 should be a interesting year but already New York has me thinking that it will be a fairly short year. The fast pase of the city really has shaped my perceptions of the world. Has it been 6 months since ive come to the big apple? man it feels like a few weeks.
I joined a gym. Lost 5 pounds so far. Going to the gym isnt hard at all its doing my routine in a correct manner and the dieting that seems to be the hardest hurdle to face. Counting calories, trying to force 8 glasses of water a day and sticking to healthy times of eating has been a real struggle. But i wont give up, im tired of being fat and constantly thinking that a woman i am interested in must be out of my league because she is skinny.
I will elaborate on my feelings a bit more in future posts.
I gave charlie the script for Heroes Rebored #2 i told him to have the comic by SPX (September of 07) but he says he could have it done by Mocca (June of 07). I also broke the story for another comic its called "Fools like Me" its the story of my love life. I hope to make it funny and touching but you never know how these autobio stories turn out.
