New York Here I Come!!!!
Well folks!
I got the apartment! Just talked to my landlord, and well i should be up in July!
Now allot of you are probably wondering what the hell is going on! Well let me start from the begining...
I decided a few months ago that i was going for my dream. To be a editor at Marvel Comics. Or just get work in the field of writing. I have wasted allot years working stupid jobs that went no where. Jobs that should have only been temporary but wound up being a little bit more permanent. You see I always believed i would fail so i never really tried.
I never tried to study english (my passion) because i figured i would never make a living at it. Making money was more of a prioraty because my folks always said it would be. So i didnt bother trying, i mayored in computer science and business which was a disaster because i wanted to run through a bee hive instead of hearing a boring class on statistics.
Anyway so after working with tourism for about 3 years, i decided to quit and follow my dream. I had toyed around with the idea in the past, i think my trips to D.R and Costa Rica helped me gain a better understanding of the world outside of the USA and PR.
Well after fighting with a client for an 8 dollar fare. I decided i was too smart to work as a glorified taxi driver. So im throwing my dice and seing how lady luck is going to reward me. My apartment is nice, its 850 a month with electricity and gas. A nice one bedroom and most importantly in a neighborhood that i wont get shot in!!!
I also got accepted in BMCC. I should start in september. So everything is nice an planned. Im probably sure it will be a hard couple of months ahead of me. Ive never lived on my own. And ive never experienced winter not to mention ive never lived outside of Puerto Rico, well not that i remember.
I wont lie, im worried i wont make any friends and i will be strapped for cash. But it would be unrealistic not to have some fears...
