My Medical Terminology course first written assignment about myself. 20/20
My name is HMV, and it has been over three years since I have attended college. In 2005, Hurricane Katrina made landfall destroying everything in her path. The devastation from this disaster left me in a state of mental instability and a lost sense of motivation to continue my education. In the past years, my family and friends have been supportive. They have encouraged me to further my education, and I now feel that I am mentally and emotionally ready to go back to school. My goal is to enter a medical college to enhance my learning experience in my studies. I am determined to utilize the lessons taught in my medical terminology courses to expand my knowledge, allowing me to pursue my fascination of the human body and its ability to adapt, heal, and grow.

I never thought I had the courage for it, but I am glad to be back in college.
