So apparently getting together with my friends for weekly roleplaying sessions is a form of "escapism" and it's "unhealthy" because we're spending our time discussing strategy and IC reactions instead of things like class (which half of us don't attend anymore and the other half are in different majors) or the opposite sex (yeah, it's real fun to talk about boys when I'm the only girl in the room, and I don't see how my presence could possibly be a buzzkill for "guy talk" at all). Why can't my friends and I spend our game nights playing "tried and true classics" like Rummikub or Yahtzee instead, like normal people?
