Look at Romeo & Juliet, Jack & Rose, Christian & Satine, Julian & Sophie.. the supposedly "starcrossed" lovers. If one or both of each couple didn't die, would they have grown old together? If they all were alive and well, would they have survived all the challenges and passed every hurdle and stick with each other till the end?
Good for them anyway. Love like theirs only happen in books and movies.
Maybe that's why I've always looked for that someone who would die with me. Call me possessive or crazy.. but it's a way of preserving love, isn't it?
