So excited
Hallo!
So, next week we are going to see De La Soul in Mannheim and I am totally stoked for this concert. It's been like ten years since their last album (or something like that)...going with my man and a good friend. Gonna get stupid. Plans for this weekend seem to be falling through though...looks like movies and bed for me. Every weekend my boyfriend and I make plans and then we rarely leave the house...we are turning into old folks. I think that this weekend I am going to make a point of getting off my ass and having a really great time.
Oh!!! And you will never guess what we have planned for July! First we are going to whisk off to Serbia Montenegro for a four day music festival...how thrill is that. Then we are going to see Underworld in Hessen. I only have to get through the next few extremely boring weeks and we will have made it. You know your summer has really started when you hit your first music festival.
On a much more recent note, mothers day is Sunday and no I have not bought my present yet. I will be one of the thousands out on sat morning trying to find the perfect gift for the woman who has everything she needs already. Every year I end up doing this at the last min. You would think I would have learned my lesson by now. Steven (my sweetie) wants to take my parents out to dinner but I really don't want to deal with the stress...dads got boyfriend issues...(no ones good enough etc.).
Today we ashesoflovers and I are going kitten hunting after work today. No we are not going to murder/maime poor defenseless kittens, we are looking for a pet for me. I need something cuddly and furry to be maternal towards. No kids for me, but cats are cool. Hopefully we will find a little bundle of hairball for me to take home. Kittens are sooo sweet...and that is all the girly girl I am acting today.
