Here's to hoping

Things are changing. Here's to hoping they change for the better.
Had a busy weekend. Friday I took a 1/2 day at work so I could take the POST exam for Hayward. I think I did alright except for one part where I marked the wrong section for it (damn it) and then had to scramble for the last 30 seconds bubbling in the correct answers in the correct section. I think I missed a few, but that's life.
Yesterday I had an interview for a financial analyst in Mountain View. I WILL not count my chickens before they hatch - but I'm going in to shadow sometime next week, and I think they like me. Granted, it's a contact position that's only 4-6 months, but that could change. And let me see here... work 4 months, make as much as I do in a YEAR at current job, or stay with current job... Hmmmm..... tough one.
And today I have another interview in Alameda. Also, not counting chickens, but I was basically spoon fed the answers by a guy that works there. Basically, if you aren't an idiot, can read and speak English, and know how to use a ruler and a microscope... you're good.
I am tired of subbing. I'm tired of being treated like crap, being accused of things I didn't do, and not being paid enough to put up with it. I would like something like, oh, I don't know, health insurance. To be able to afford to strike it out on my own (or at least with a housemate. Apartment-mate?)
Also, San Jose wants me in for their oral board review Jan 12. Looking forward to that.
Come on Cosmos, get it together. *cheers it on*
Remember that triangle - love, job, money: pick two? Well, I got one, help me get another corner.
*fingers crossed*
