Update!
I spent my Halloween in comfy pants scaring the ever loving crap out of kids. Good times! I put on my purple minion pajama pants, poofed up my hair, then answered the door with a purple minion "BLAUGH!" (I was an off duty minion who got de-purpleized). The others at the party went along with it. They said something along the lines of "Minion! Don't eat these." It was fun. The little kids I didn't scream at them too much. Some didn't know what to do with me and stared blankly. The teenagers were fun. I did the whole tweeked out screaming bit and it creeped them out. So much fun!
For the past week, I've been dealing with a cold that has now blown out into a full on sinus infection. Ow ow my head. I'm living through work. They are having mercy on me and have given me light duty (as in, Thursday I spent my last "official" day as a science teacher uploading grades and today I only teach 2 classes). Hoping that this will clear up soon. Ug.
My room is... still in move out mode. Still on an air mattress. Still not painted. People are so dumb! Mom was looking for prices and some guy wanted $3000 just for painting my 9x10 room! $3000!!?!?!? Are you insane??? Finally found a logical guy who'll do that plus give me a new windowsill (since the last one was warped out of commission) for around $600. Because dood, people be stupid yo. After it gets painted, we're looking at hardwood floors for my room since the carpet still reeks of mildew. And AFTER that... we'll finally go about getting a new bed and re-doing my room. Looks like things are going to cost around $1200 for new bed, mattress, and general room stuff. Weee fun. Well, here's the opportunity to get rid of a bunch of stuff. Like, a lot a lot. Because I have a lot of crap.
