Water water everywhere...
So, I've been living in a hotel for the past 2 weeks and it looks like I'll be there for 2-3 more. My apartment got flooded by the 3rd story water heater exploding. That in turn, flooded the 2nd story apartment below, which then flooding mine. My room is destroyed as is my bed and a few photo albums and books (but you know, only the handmade stuff that isn't replaceable. Nothing much. *grump*). Thankfully, while the photo albums were destroyed, the pictures survived. The shed in the back patio has to be completely replaced, and the fireplace was a bit damaged as well.
All in all, when all is said and done, I need a new ceiling in my room and new walls, possibly a new carpet (though they may just replace the padding and stretch the carpet), the livingroom floor must be replaced, and the shed in its entirety. I get a new bed out of this. Possibly a new tv/laptop - though I'm unsure and a bit afraid to turn them on. Oie.
