Words words words

A lot of words have been exchanged over the past couple of days. First off is finally talking with a supervisor for the front office of my doctor (and I currently use that term lightly). She gave me a lot of words about steps she took to ensure that my kind of treatment won't happen again. Apparently there's a lack of documentation in their office. They are also working out some bugs from a new system with faxes. Point of the matter is, I fully believe that I will continue to have problems with these people, and if I do, I will call the supervisor again, but only to get her supervisor's number because she didn't do her job sufficently. I have also set up a formal complaint with this doctor's office through my worker's comp. Still waiting on that.

Another word exchange was with an 11 year old boy who spoke before he thought. I jokingly put on his dad's glasses and he told me that I look like a short, fat, Herminone Granger. I know he wasn't being malicious, but DAMN IT old wounds really don't heal. It's kind of hard knowing how to react to it because on the one hand, yes, I am fat. There's no denying it, and I'm not saying that it's a bad thing! On the other hand, "fat" is never used in a good light. Ever. So I'm kinda confused and torn being called that word. Again. By a child. Again. Truth hurts sometimes, and due to the arm, there's little I can do in the way of excercise.

My girls may be in a newsletter (GEMS group) for all the awesome things we do. Gave the group some success stories of awesome crafts/activites my group has done and now they want pictures (pics or it didn't happen?). We'll see how that turns out.
