I hate Murphy's Law

Feb 26, 2007 11:22

I have midterm's this week.  Therefore, I am sick, coughing near constantly.  And the meds I take daily don't mix w/nightquil so I can't take it w/out risking sleeping 24 hours (especially with the sleeping pills I take).  Isn't this always how it works?  At least I don't feel bad other than the coughing and sore throat.  Though I didn't go to class today b/c I figured I should conserve my strength for the midterm tomorrow.  Which meant more sleep and not going out in rainy weather unless I absolutely had to.

Murphy really knew what he was talking about.

And yes, he was a real person.  A physicist or something like that who coined the phrase after an expiriment gone wrong.

I'll post a non-complaining entry soon.  Just wanted to vent frustration over the way the universe works.

By the way,
kupoke this isn't what you had/have is it?  Despite you, half our classmates, and one of our teachers being sick, I never noticed anyone coughing the way I am.  The cough got into my chest far too fast for comfort as well.  Normally I'd go see a doctor about it, but I'm not sure I want to go to walk to the health center in this weather.  After all, if it's just a virus, that could make it worse.  I'm thinking of calling the advice nurse for an opinion.
