So About Cramming Too Many Things Into An Entry..

Jul 28, 2007 20:41

I keep having this dream that school has started and I'm walking around the building, but it's not the highschool. It's kind of like.. the elementary school. And I don't know what class I'm stupposed to be in and I lost my bag and I have to find my bag to find out what class it is so I go into the auditorium, because I probably left it there.
But it's not the auditorium. It's a stage with the curtains all opened so you can see the techie area and all the movie theater-esque seats are on the stage. It's a really big stage. And it's not easy to find things. I mean you can't even walk there's so much clutter. There are bags and purses and plastic containers and sweatshirts and junk everywhere and I look through all these things for an hour and then a bell rings.

I hope the school sends out that letter that says when all our classes are so I can stop having this dream.

List seven songs you are into right now, no matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your LiveJournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.

1. Devil's Dance Floor - Flogging Molly
I just recently watched Pirates of the Carribean and all the characters are still running around in my head and flogging molly reminds me of the movie... andd it makes me want need to dance.

2. Mrs. O - The Dresden Dolls
Because at least one of the dresden dolls' songs is on my personal 7-song list at all times and because there's something magical about going out in the snow with hairdryers (and 50-foot extension cords) and something wonderful about a child's take on something not so normal.

3. Gypsy - Suzanne Vega
Because it was one of the songs in a mix tape that Charlie made. (The Perks of Being a Wallflower) And it's the only one on there that made me feel like he made that tape for me. =B

4. Sunday Morning Song - Howie Day
Because it's very nonchalant and there's just something nice about it.
"Wouldn't it be something if everything changed?"

5. Sofa Song - The Kooks
I have no idea. I don't like his accent. It annoys me.
And yet, I keep listening to it and it puts me in a good mood.

6. Polly - Nirvana
I can't really explain this one. It just fits a certain mood and I like it.

7. The Lonesome Organist - The Dresden Dolls
I know it's an unwritten rule. You're not supposed to put more than one song by the same artist, but I can't help it. It's ridiculous and crazy and I love the way Amanda Palmer screams. That is all.
I tag: Beth, Laura, Beck, Ashlyn, Lorrie,

Tomorrow's my last day at home before I leave for camp. I'm super excited because camp is crazy and fun and ADVENTURE, but it's a while to be gone and I'm gonna miss you guys D=
Send me a letter and I'll love you forever (and write back).
