Japanese Street Fashion
My new found love, www.japanesestreets.com. It's a website dedicated to one of my favorite things of all time, Japanese Street Fashion!!! Everyday the photographer Kjeld Duits posts an image of someone from the streets of Japan who's outfit he loves. He started it in 2002 and it was one of the first fashion blogs. Here are my favorites from his recent postings.

Photo actually taken in October 2011. Somehow he forgot to post this!!! The only outfit input he got was that her shoes are Converse :(. This makes me sad, because I REALLY like her accessories and her colors!!!
The other thing I like about the site is he always points out the colors and coordinations. Here she's obviously showing love for my personal favorite hot pink! Plus the added black, indigo, medium blue, lime and pale purple.
I love the sparkly purple eyeshadow! She did a really good job keeping the shape of both of them clean and even. They even match the color of her necklace chains and the bears on her buttons and her furry horned headband. Her lips are even the same color as her hair! And the blue streaks in her hair match her adorable bear buttons and the blue in her romper. However, I'm not really feeling the five pounds of mascara that cause her tarantula lashes. One of the visitors to the site pointed them out too. Also, where are her eyebrows????
An interesting angle and a nice shot of her I'm counting I think 5 ear piercings.
I really like this picture. You get a close up of her giant orange cherries! I think they're attached to a clear ring plug. You can also see that she dyed her hair in a way that was awesome! Her headband split the hot pink and bright blue perfectly. She has another brightly colored earring attachment of some sort, but I can't really tell what it is.
The image on the left is a closer up shot of the whole outfit. Everything matches sooo perfectly in a completely mismatched way! Multiple necklaces, multiple buttons, multiple bracelets, multiple rings, multiple animal prints, but it all works. She's a girl after my own heart, she loves her accessories and she loves her pink!
The image on the right shows that all of her necklaces are on the same colored chain, a pale purple that matches her eyeshadow and her horned headband. Plus they each have hearts on them! Her jacket, her headband and romper are all colorful animal prints.
A close up of her finger and wrist wear. Her nail polish looks like pink crackled on white. It looks like an added animal print! And it's pink! I like that she added some edgier pieces to her look to balance out with the girly pink. I especially like her bulky horseshoe ring on her middle finger and her light pink bubbly ring. The watch also matches her jacket perfectly. Hot pink with lime accents. And being a punker I have to appreciate the spike bracelet.
I love detail shots like this because they can give you a real appreciation of pieces. Like her "Love Lots" button with a cute little unicorn on it! The necklace has a little bear with a bow tie! Then she has another one that has a woman in an awesome outfit dancing.
Another detail shot. On this one you can tell that it's a romper with a belt to help separate the piece and not a shirt and shorts. Plus you can see that she has a necklace with Barbies and "Crazy Bunny" and "Hug Me" on it.
Her lovely white tights with roses! They're gorgeous! I've been wanting to get some awesome printed tights like that.
Someone on the site pointed out that her shoelaces match her eyeshadow. The print on her cons are lavender and light green camp. Her socks even match her jacket. They're hot pink with lime spots!!! Plus who can't love platform converse shoes!!!
