I am very bad at monopoly!
Well, my family and I played a game of Monopoly last night that ended up lasting 3 hours, and I must say, it was TOO amusing!
So, when I brought up the ol' game of Monopoly, I said "If only there was a beer mug or pasta peice...." and then laughed. However, my family just stared..... So, I was the battleship.
literally almost every turn, I rolled a six on one of the dies, and so, every time I rolled one, I'd say "stupid six!" because I'd usually land on someone's property and have to pay them.
So, once the game got "going" I had the most money out of the five players: My brother Matt, Sister Megan, Dad, and Mother. I had alot of property and some houses on them... My mom had ALL 4 railroads, so if they were landed on, you'd have to pay: $200.
Later on in the game, my dad got both of the blue properties, and put hotels on them. YOU HAD TO PAY A WHOPPING $2000 IF YOU LANDED ON ONE!
When I was "running lower" on cash after I made a deal with my sister of $500 for some property, I landed on my father's space. After paying him his cash, I had a mere $50 left. Then, when I returned to that coner with a mere $250, I LANDED ON THE SPACE AGAIN! I ended up having to sell alot of my property. You know what my dad did? He put hotels on THOSE, and you had to pay $600 if you landed on any of THOSE.
So, after a bit, I had been able to loot a good $700...... and the ONLY way I could land on my dad's land-on-it-and-you're-fucked land was if I rolled a three. I was happy, because there is only ONE way to get a three with two dice. I confidently rolled the dice. You know what I got? I GOT A THREE. I went bankrupt, because not even selling my property could settle the $2000 I had to pay my dad, because I'd already sold the ones worth high value! After rolling the six, I swore in German (I said "Shit!!!!")
Well, after going upstairs at 9:00, their game of monopoly went on.... FOR ANOTHER HOUR. I am not good at monopoly.
Next time I play, not only will I say "Stupid six", I will also say "stupid three". I need to get better at monopoly xD
