The evil of the flu shot.
Flu shots suck. Do yourself a favour, and don't get one. They're a waste of time and money, because every year they just guess at one strain of flu will be dominant this time around, and that's what they base their all-powerful flu shot on. Stupid sods. And besides, it hurts. A lot. I'm not used to my shots hurting me.
Now I'm sure you're all asking me why I got one. Well, you would be if you cared that much. My mum was worried about the bird flu, so she told me to get one or I can't go to New Brunswick. Besides, she didn't know it would hurt. When she got hers through work, it didn't hurt at all, and she got chocolate and they took care of her.
I didn't get chocolate. All I got was a stab in the arm, and then told to bugger off. Actually, Mum was kind of upset about that. They're supposed to wait in case you have an allergic reaction, and they didn't.
The moral of the story is I got a flu shot, I didn't like it, and I shan't get another. So there.
