English this year is really sucking so far, which is odd because it's the same teacher from last year. But the assignments have just been so lame, and, well, confusing. They aren't really hard, I just don't get them. Or rather, how I'm supposed to do them.
Look are the assignment for tomorrow, for example. We have take a bittersweet moment in our lives, and turn into an anecdote with a metaphor. wft, mate? I mean really, I don't get it. First of all, the only bittersweet moment I can think of is when my father left. And how do you turn that into a metaphor? Kat finally gave me an idea: like a cold wind blowing shut a door on a warm house. But how do I turn that into an anecdote?
