(no subject)
Hey.
So I went to do some shopping with Jovan yesterday. I really need new clothes to go dancing... but I'm so wary of trying new things that it's almost a lost cause. Anyway, we went to that new hot store, XXI, but it mostly had very short skirts and bling bling. I managed to find something I liked, but then I couldn't zip it up. Wow I felt like such a loser. They had nice jewelry too, but I had no cash and I hate using my debit card for small amounts, so in the end I got nothing |: As usual.
It was a cool afternoon, but I was so sore from badminton that I couldn't really get into it. Sorry, Jovan. Let's try again another time.
I had some free time after class and before meeting with my brother, so I went to the comics store. I decided to only buy things I hadn't read before, since it'd worked so well last time. Simon Dark, taking place in Gotham but having absolutely nothing to do with Batcrew. It's both very cute and eerie. It only lasted from 2007 to 2009... I should've gotten the second tpb right away, gnn. Ares : God of War, in which nobody sounds like what I've seen of the Marvel gods so far, but it's still fucking awesome. The Superman storyline following OYL, I haven't touched it yet and I have no idea what I should expect, but I need more Superman stories so whatever. And Mighty Love, haven't touched it either but it doesn't look so great. Oh, well. Who knows.
Yeah. People really need to stop getting hung up on the little things, holding undeserved grudges, crusading against things that don't deserve that much attention. Get your priorities straight, guys. I'm talking mostly general, here (oh boy I need to stop reading open letters in the newspaper), but whatever. That's one of the few things that really piss me off. I can't take someone seriously when the worst thing in their lives is how they got a fine for bringing their dog in a park.
